I discovered a good alternative to cutting. Instead of getting a very sharp knife, I found a dull kitchen knife. It’s still sharp but it’s not sharp enough to puncture the skin no matter how hard you press it (I tried)
So scraping the edge of the knife against my skin, it creates a similar feeling to cutting without actually cutting your skin. It’s sharp enough to create pain but not actually sharp enough to create actual cuts.
