What has been the most physically painful thing that you have had to deal with?

I'm not sure, but hitting your infected toe against a table leg has got to be up there.

I once got an sti that got into my kidneys and I literally couldn’t do anything. Even laying down in any position other than on my back with my knees up was suuuuper uncomfortable.

Pouring rubbing alcohol over a massive graze to clean out the mud and gravel because I was in the middle of nowhere and it was super grossed up

@PhoenixPhail heard its terrible
@reflectingmonkey They're the worst. I had a friend who had given birth, and had passed a kidney stone. She said she would rather go through labor 100 times than to have another kidney stone.

probably skull-splitting headache from the change of pressure when I was on a plane going down and i had a cold and i was totally congested so the pressure in my sinuses couldn't adjust itself, holding my head with my 2 hands and crying like a baby.
Letting morphine wear off after brain surgery.. the nurses could call in anything even tylenol for about 30 min. By thst time I was holding in screams.

@Shayla I was awake during a surgery too, and I've met women who have endured a C-section with a failed epidural. You have my deepest empathy. *HUGE HUG!!!*

I had part of my small intestines twist, perforate and die. It wasn’t exactly pleasant. Eating wasn’t very fun for a while.

Waking up during surgery.
@PeanutsauntieP1982 That would be bad. But better too little anesthesia than too much.
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
I agree, cause at least with too little, you know you're already awake! But, I have my anesthesiologist use a BSI monitor and a sedative before putting me under. With the BSI monitor, the doctor can actually tell how deep I am, and the sedative guarantees that I won't remember anything should I wake up. Thanks to those two things, my last surgery went beautifully, plus I had the world's best anesthesiologist and surgeon! (Not to mention, my surgeon was quite handsome!)😉😉😁😁😁😁
