Diabetes. Complications from diabetes. ie, kidney failure, water retention, blindness. Not sure about the visions. I get those a lot, even when awake. I tend to think of them as some kind of telepathic signals I'm picking up randomly and I'm seeing what someone else is actually seeing in real time.
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
@Serenitree it's funny, but that never crossed my mind. Except for having the connection to someone else for a bit, my brain felt ok. I had no other symptoms to suggest any abnormalities, no double vision, headaches, nothing of that nature. And, from what the people were doing, it just seemed/seems like an odd little jump in my mind.
Serenitree · F
@PeanutsauntieP1982 Yes, but mine started at a young age, and when I mentioned it, my mom made an appointment with the doctor because she'd heard that certain seizure disorders caused the people to have visions. They did some kind of test, reassured mom I wasn't having seizures and I just stopped mentioning them. But they never stopped.
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
Only two of my bff's know about my visions, cause a few times, it's been one of them doing something. Most of the time it's strangers.
Diagnosis: Your ancient Puck!!! lol

Have your blood checked: could be diabetes like Cherokee Patti said.. 😥
@cherokeepatti So sad Patti..
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@JustLikeGreta It is and I know of 2 last year who found out after a year or more. One lady had blood clots in her legs and had a stroke, she had been getting regular checkups. And another wasn't told for a year, he went back to his file and pulled his lab tests and the doctor knew about it and they always told him his tests were good when they'd call. People need to learn to read their lab tests and not just take the word of their doctors. Too much greed in the medical field.
@cherokeepatti I have a close friend with severe diabetes: diagnosed far too late. She has major heart problems and disease.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I hope you've been to a doctor and talked about this.
Serenitree · F
@puck61 I had blood work done a couple of weeks ago too, but I got my results back already.
@Serenitree This is the VA. You know how 'they' are.
Serenitree · F
@puck61 No, but I know about government red tape and bureaucratic b.s.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
Have no idea, check with a doctor. Could be onset of diabetes, but just a guess on my part. Hope you feel better.
@therighttothink50 Thanks man. Hopefully there will be something fixable.

Poor circulation, low blood sugar, tinnitus, and possible flu.

@nedkelly don't get lack of sex...fatality lol.
Fernie · F
hey! how did you get your hands on my medical records????
@Fernie All in all I'm blessed. I don't want to tempt fate, but I often think my life is better than I deserve.
Fernie · F
@puck61 If I'm lyin' I'm dyin'...I feel the exact same way. It can always be SO much worse!
Serenitree · F
@puck61 Not your sugar? Yay, glad to hear it. Makes my response rather lame, but it stands. I would miss you if you suddenly disappeared, but I wouldn't wonder. I'd just assume you were taking care of yourself. I'm happy to see that I'm wrong. You are taking care. I hope you can find some relief from this pain and misery. I hate being sick.
SW-User
Have you written your will? Sorry...no idea but couldn’t resist answering anyway, lol 😀
@SW-User Actually the VA made me take the living will paperwork home with me last time I went. That was real reassuring.

Have you ever been tested for diabetes? its very common these days and can cause a lot of problems...my friend had a stroke from blood clots in her leg, the doctor told her she must have had diabetes for quite a while (2 years or more because she had been hurting in her legs for a long time)for that to develop. Sad thing was that she had been getting regular medical check-ups every year and no one had ever told her she was a diabetic. I believe it's good to self-test, you can buy A1C tests online.
Congestive heart failure,d diabetes, peripheral artery disease, high blood pressure, arthritis.

@SW-User 😨....... I sure hope the fundamentalists aren't right!
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
I don't know what exactly that is, but I do know you need to get to a doctor ASAP. DO NOT drive yourself!!
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
Right! I started with EP in 2009I believe, and it was a great source of support for me during a very difficult time in my life, so I understand what you mean. 😃
PeanutsauntieP1982 · 41-45, F
😁😁😁
Unlearn · 41-45, M
Are you on any meds?
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@puck61 nah...there was a time I was under stress and developed few medical conditions. Back then I used to do those things...going for a run, eating healthy, drinking more water etc. But, none helped. With passing years I realized I was the one creating my problems. The day I learned to truly relax...things changed and I was healed. We are not helpless individuals at the mercy of our genes, dna or nature at large. What I am trying to say is quite difficult to put in words. You gotta read between the lines...hope it helps.
@Unlearn I understand the transcendental nature of our individual realities. I'm glad you found that. I'm happy, but probably on a lower spiritual level. I've been a hedonistic flibbertigibbet most of my life in spite of all my 'research' into spiritual matters. I'm kind of fatalistic about 'reaping what you sew' and 'paying the piper' and all that.
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@puck61 we acquire diseases when we are drained of our vital energy. If one can find a way to identify and plug these leaks...ones situation improves. There is fate but then there is also freewill. Wishing you feel and get better...
Kaitlyn · 46-50, F
Oh my goodness you must need painkillers and bed.
@Kaitlyn Well, the symptoms are real, but I was trying to be light hearted about it. I was kind of making fun of myself a little bit. 🐒
U lickle monkey @puck61

Diabetes, migraine headache, heart murmur, high blood pressure, arthritis, and digestive problems.
Serenitree · F
Diabetes, to start with. With some flu tossed in for good measure. With the edema it's possible you have some kidney malfunction.

I keep telling you to get that diabetes checked. I believe you're no longer borderline. And when you disappear we won't have to wonder "Oh, hey! Anybody seen Puck, lately? He seems to be missing." We will know, you didn't get that taken care of. I'll miss you, but I won't wonder.
purplepen · 51-55, F
That sounds scary. How are you feeling now?
@purplepen The foot pain and knee pain is moderate, and the 'weird feeling is subsided by peanut butter and honey' for a bit. It has to be diabetes because stuff like peanut butter and honey makes me feel great when I start feeling awful sometimes.
purplepen · 51-55, F
@puck61 ok, just watch the blood sugar if it's type 2. I'm wondering if diabetes can cause hallucinations, because somebody with a diabetic brother told me it could. I'm also wondering if you ever go into ketogenic shock from difficulty metabolizing proteins, because that can send things haywire too.
Miram · 31-35, F
How long have been dealing with all of this?
@Miram It got much worse in May and has slowly gotten worse since then.
Miram · 31-35, F
@puck61 I hope it turns out to be something manageable and treatable.

It can be multiple issues or a one issue thing like Lyme or neurological disorders.
If it's multiple, the blood tests will/may show . If it's just one, you will be asked for more tests.
Get well soon Puck ❤
