What do I do?

My doctor said if my meds don't cause inflamed adenoids/sore throat and a certain thing doesn't help then I will need them taken out. I have a sore throat 3/4 of every month and I can't stand it. My dad told me today that he won't let me have surgery done. It is killing me slowly.

Your dad doesn't have a say in it. I hope you get well soon without the surgery though, but if it's necessary just know that it's nothing to worry about. It's routine for the doctors and painless for the patients 馃檪

@fluteacorn you should probably go to the police if he's that bad and report his bad actions. Or to some organization that takes care of molested children. You may think that this will change when you become an adult, but as long as you live under his roof it's going to be like that. Courage girl 馃挃

Your dad is probably correct. A lot of unnecessary surgeries done. To be fair I don't know your situation. It's just that sometimes there's other answers than surgery.

@Mikemcneil It isn't a definite but I have had it for a week and a half so far. My doctor said there is a chance it will be necessary because of my frequent sore throats.
