I Like Popcorn That Is Buttery

Speaking of margarine, what really stirred my contempt for the dreaded imitation butter was one time when I had made popcorn from popping kernels over the stovetop. I wanted to add butter by melting it and then pouring it over my popcorn so I melted a stick of margarine, thinking it could work just like butter. But when I poured it over my popcorn, it turned the whole damn thing into soggy yellow mush! 😱 I know it was my mistake and all for thinking margarine could work but still, I never forgave margarine after that and have hated it ever since. 😒
