I'm Always Barefooted

Wow gosh so yesterday and the weather, I'm sure we had all the seasons in a single morning!

We had rain, snow, hail and then finally sunshine. It was with the sunshine me and my sons decided to look around the shops in particular TK Maxx (well mum decided that's what were doing) my daughter was carted off to gymnastics practice and I was left with the boys so we went to the shopping centre thing.

Anyhow as it was glorious sunshine when we set off neither me or the boys bothered with our shoes, we hopped in the car barefoot and off we went. I was wearing a tee with a light jacket and shorts as were the boys funnily enough but we were all barefoot.

Well we must've been in the car 2 minutes and swoosh out of nowhere heavy rain which by the time we got to our destination had turned into hard heavy hailstones!! Felt quite strange under my bare soles and the boys complained that the stones hitting their bare legs and tops of feet hurt so we hurried along into the shop where we stayed until it passed and the sun came out again.

What an interesting experience! Of course it was not pleasant to be surprised by the hail, but after that it was certainly a good feeling to walk barefoot even in this extraordinary situation. How good that you left the house barefoot. If you had shoes with you, you would have been tempted to put them on your feet.
It's so wonderful that you allow your sons to be barefoot even in cold weather conditions and that they themselves wish to be barefoot all year round. That's the best for their feet and their self-confidence .

Being out in hail can be dangerous. Seeking shelter is the best solution. Personally I think going barefoot in the rain makes perfect sense. I was in a Target one time and someone commented on my bare feet. I told them that I went barefoot all the time and that my feet would be dry before I got past all the registers. Going barefoot makes so much more sense than wearing shoes that get wet, and take forever to dry, OR wearing flip-flops that can send you sliding as soon as you hit the smooth floor of the store. Good for you and the boys for venturing out barefoot this early in the season!

@barefootnude Yeah hail can be unpleasant but we dashed quite rapidly into the shop.

Spent yesterday cleaning up the backyard. Raking up leaves and sticks barefoot. Felt great to be outside

@summerwind I did the same thing last Saturday, except I was barefoot-all-over 👣😉

I spent yesterday afternoon in my garden. A slight mist of rain but warm enough in my glory. Garden looks much better now

@ProThrall I bet your garden looks beautiful

There are many stories on here about people love being barefooted.

The hail must have felt quite nice under the soles, a little like a massage, or those massage using the sharp spikes.

I also love being barefooted, grass, puddles, soil, sand, mud is a favourite, wet leaves, bark of trees, even horse and cow dung, cow dung being a particular treat for my feet.

@SW-User Excellent, you seem more of a barefoot in nature person which is fabulous too.

@SandraB Yes, honestly, the nature makes love to your feet when ever those shoes and socks come off.

Forests and woodland is a great place to experience this, or in fields.

@SW-User I completely agree.

Being barefoot in the rain is the best way. No worries or hassles about getting your shoes or socks wet.
