I've had the most wonderful work day with my dad so far, and it's not even really started yet.

It all began when my dad was telling me that we were going to be driving the white work van to the job site. I was trying to find out if we could save on gas by taking my Camry instead, and that led to the following conversation:

Me: What's in the white van that we need?
Dad: Tools.
Me: Which tools?
Dad: The ones in the van.
Me: Like what specifically?
Dad: I don't know... a hammer?
Me: You've loaned out all your hammers, we don't own any.
Dad: I don't know, I'd have to go look.



He never looked.
