I Hate My Dad

I Hate My Dad So Much I Could Scream... No matter what i do or say is wrong and I'm the good child and all he does is yell at me and tell me to go away and leave him alone and says stuff like go do something your in the way and it pisses me off because before he like starts talking to me and then does something else at the same time and then shuts me down because he can't do everything at once but he is so OCD that he is always doing something and never has time for anyone but himself and its like one thing after another with him when i ask him to do one thing he freaks out at me because he has more important things to do he is not a good father and i wish i could just trade for a new one

I wish I could really give you some help and advice but keep a stiff upper lip someday he will see what he missed I cherish every min I spend with my daughters we do at least do 2 concerts a year last week I to tem to Selena the target center last week and I just got our Demi ticket the excel march 18th . So I will say he will look back when you have grown and left and see what he has missed . So just be strong .

Is there a way you can offer to help or join him in things that he's doing, even if you're not that interested? That might loosen him up.

BTW, I can't send you a message or write on your whiteboard, but I wanted to let you know that I flagged/reported that jerk who was very rude (and quite incorrect) on your "Before you add me" page. It's so obviously that you are not what he said, and that you don't deserve such comments.

They think you cannot handle being friends with someone over 18, I guess. Surprisingly, I was just able to add you! Try now (just ignore all the adult stuff that you're not interested in).

we have a similar story. My dad got angry at me recently just because I tried explaining to him about how the electricity billing works at the dorm me and my sister were going to stay in. He got mad at me and threw a spoon at me very hard which gave me a bruise. He is very OCD and he drags me along with him everytime he needs something done.

Just hang in there. I believe that every abusive or bad parent will get what's coming to them. I personally dont want to take revenge for what my dad did to me but I want nature to take its course. Just take care and believe that there is more to life than suffering and that problems like this are just tiny to the blessing you will get in the future :)

I'm sorry you've had to go through all that, it must have been horrible. I can relate to a lot of what you talked about, and I was wondering if we could connect over email and perhaps share some thoughts and experiences. I would really appreciate it, and I think venting about it could be good for both of us.

I wish we could all get the perfect family, but we can't. I have an idea what your going through and it's rough. You can look at it as a problem, or you can use it as an opportunity. If you use it as a problem it can own you. If you use it as an opportunity you can own it and your future. The choice is yours sweetheart.
