I have to pay to come home. [I Am So Annoyed]

I live on an island in Michigan where there is a pay and a free bridge. The free bridge is down for repair and will be for quite sometime. In order to go to work I have to use the pay bridge. You don't get charged leaving the island but you get charged coming onto the island. I have to pay to come home and it's stupid. I feel like if you live here you shouldn't have to pay anything. Why are we being punished for nothing? There is this thing called the bridge pass which is a card you load money on to get on the island but you still have to pay for it. I'm sorry but as long as we can prove we are residents (just look at my drivers license) we shouldn't have to pay. $5 cash or $7 with a card.

Once on an unfamiliar toll road during rush hour I chucked a quarter into the basket and it bounced out. So I opened my door to pick it up, people were blowing their horns at me and I didn't have another quarter and the gate wouldn't open till I found it and put it in the basket. After about 30 seconds I guess which seemed like a lot longer I found it and the gate opened, what a bunch of impatient horn blowin a-holes though.

I can go to New Jersey all I want for free... but I have to pay to leave it and to get back into Pennsylvania

@Spokeskitties75 That's stupid
@Spokeskitties75 I always thought of that as the 'escape from NJ' tax. which kinda amused me.
