I'm Saying Don't Judge Me Until You've Walked In My Shoes

I really try to not be judgemental about anyone. When I realize that I may just be doing this I try to redirect my thoughts.

Who am I to declare anyone is right or wrong for anything they do or do not do? I may ask what are you thinking when you do something, but only so that I may have an understanding of what drives you.

I want to understand...not judge, I don't really think that their really is a concrete RIGHT and WRONG anyway, just a huge grey area...

Yes! 馃挀

I honestly wish more people felt this way. It's one thing to gain a basic understanding and decide something isn't right for you. Like you've described here. It's another entirely to thoroughly judge somebody's existence based on that thing.

That said... I think a whole lot of life is a huge gray area, but there are some things that are black and white. Murder - as in, killing somebody without cause - for example, is always wrong. (And note, if your first thought to counter this is, "what about self-defense" then you've just described "killing with cause" rather than murder.)

For the most part, "live and let live" is a very good life philosophy.

I believe that right and wrong is concrete for human beings, and it's made by a person. This person varies from nation to nation, people to people, religion to religion. But, it's always there in some form.
