I'm Saying Don't Judge Me Until You've Walked In My Shoes

Where do I even begin.. I always had a dysfunctional family and that's where the trust issues began. Lost my dad when I was 17. Lost my mom when I was 23. My 2 older sisters are complete strangers to me and my younger sister is currently a addict. I have a hard time getting close to anyone. I fight everyday not to think bad thoughts. I seem to have a problem of not letting go of my past. But despite all that I have been thru, I still see the good in people and I will continue to have a huge heart. My past was pretty shitty but that doesn't mean my future will be.

I commend you. Letting go of or even attempting to let go of the past is no easy feat, at least it wasn't for me. It doesn't have to define you but it can give you strength and motivation to grasp your future and mold it into what you wish. But the scars it can leave will never disappear. And I think for you to choose to care and have a big heart after all of that is noble. Thanks for sharing this.

That’s a great attitude to keep. One thing that helps me is to force myself to smile at people as I walk by. Pretty soon it’s for real. I do wish you a life of happiness and trust one day. I don’t sense a lot of anger so I think you have a good shot at succeeding. Fight the good fight! 😊

And it also doesn't mean to trust people too easily...
I'm sorry you had to go thru that 🤗

The past is done...you write your story..

That's rough. 🙏
