Thelma Houston scored a number-one hit in 1977 with her recording of "Don't Leave Me This Way," which won the Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. I've loved this song since my first listening of it when it was released.
So many vocal artists lip-sync to their recorded work when making videos or performing, not being able to match the electronic adjustments made to their vocals in the studio.
