I find it hard to share what I have to say on SW. Really Do. This place is a far cry from what EP was, where I never felt inhibited, to share my desires and my loves. My type of writing- and my thoughts are NOT SW fare!

Except for music. Which, in the end, is the universal language. And while some (myself included ) may not understand all the words, the feelings of the music, of the sound is conveyed and understood by the heart. (regarding myself, I am speaking of songs in French, Italian and Greek)

And this sweet number is a good example. Tt is rather basic;simplistic even, in it's approach. Ah! but the message it conveys--that is priceless!

I think this speaks equally well to those in love and to those longing for a love or one who may love them as best they could. It speaks to the dreamer in many. And to the hopeless romantic- of which there are many. And maybe even to the one a bit forlorn and torn in their feelings.

I need not introduce Nana- she is a musical legend, having recorded in 7 decades! But it is a shame, this lovely soprano is still unknown by so many!

To those that are just discovering her.And to those that know of her. And to the dreamers and romantics on here that care, I post this song.

As for the music, thank you. Posting thoughts, hmm. I'm not sure how I stand on this one, and SW being different from EP. I don't say there isn't a difference. My only thought might be that we were heading this direction with EP too. Bigger difference would be that EP had the critical masses of posts from the past. The admins were without doubt downplaying the story section. It had already eliminated the blog, and the confession sections with the last big design update. SW now, it will become what we make it. If we censor ourselves the things we liked at EP will die. Left is all the junk stories we see mostly today. I myself am not using this section enough. I see a few, and value their posts. Maybe it's time we do our influence. Thank you for the reminder.

@SapphicHeart What I mean to say is I write form the heart in a style that reader instantly knows how I FEEL at that exact moment. After all, it is my story. And that is a bit too heavy for some that just want flippancy and general craziness. I do craziness as well, but in moderation. I write to touch the heart . mind and soul. Namely of her. As I understand hers. But I write for him as well. Or I did.

I believe her I am just preaching to the choir. To the same 3-4 that follow me loyally. And they have read the old posts I have reprinted (this is not one) I will not get the hearts of one who has an adorable dog-or of one who is known to clown around a lot. Nor will I get the views. Not that in and of itself is not too important to me, but it also means I am affecting no one- as I cannot if they do not view and read. So it is folly to put one's heart into a story only to have it ignored. I can do that in a diary or journal. Which is to say I do not post questions. Blogs and stories were my outlet. As were they of my friends. We supported each other and had a close knit support group among us. We "got" each other. That is lacking here. At least for me.

EP had millions more members. thus sis had more intellectuals- and also trolls. The good came with the bad- or the bad followed the good to EP.

I believe there is a room. When I write a post inside the group section it's more my own reflections. I acknowledge that others might use them differently. Guess what I am saying is, I hope everyone won't let themselves limit by what they believe others might think of it. :-)

It's a shame that we can't really be our true selves as we were on EP my friend. I guess those Golden Days are over. 😔

I agree. Those days are over= at least for now. Even IF the same cast of characters showed up- and they won't- something has changed. The closeness and intimacy of what we had on EP is gone. In a sense, a family was broke up.

I had alot of inspiration on EP TO WRITE--here, I have none.
