The Thompson Twins (with Flock of Seagulls) was the first concert I saw. I was 13, I think, and my friends and I had multi-color, glow-in-the dark bracelets on. We were dancing with our arms up throughout the concert. When they played this song they dedicated it to us (the girls with the glowing bracelets). Every time I hear it now I think of that memory. :)
I love that song. Actaully me ex did and when they liked it I was not really a fan.
However it is a bit tragic as it speaks of better times and how the heart falls apart. And it relegates than and knows it must move on-yet unhappily.
I have a few pic of live and us loving it all. I need to get rid of them.
Sorry for being mundane and depressing.

I loved it back in the day. But we used to joke about the group name—“‘The Thompson Twins’—all three of them !” 😃
