I Had a Near Death Experience

A few weeks back a barn we were staying at caught fire while my siblings, friends and I were still inside, we didn't notice it was on fire until it reached the front door from the room we were in and blocked the exit.
Let's just say I know how it feels to be inside burning embers. It was a terrifying experience, I have asthma and as soon as I started to inhale smoke I had difficulties breathing normally, we started to panic and we couldn't find anyway out because of all the smoke and flames blocking the view, and pieces of the barn were falling and blocking windows, i don't know what happened afterwards because I completely blacked out, I don't know if it was because I was having a panic attack, or because my brother knocked me over and I hit my head, I just remember I woke up and I was in an ambulance with a bunch of strangers surrounding me, and I didn't recognize anyone.
It turns out while in the barn i inhaled too much smoke to the point of passing out, we didn't get severely hurt thank god, I suffered from a burn on my back which i still can't lay perfectly on or bend over as it aches. My brother suffered some minor burns on his left arm and a twisted ankle... One of my friends broke his wrist, and another suffered some minor burns on his lower back.
Luckily we all got out alive.
I have to admit that was the scariest experience I've ever gone through, the thought of never getting out or burning alive is the worst thing you could imagine, and actually feeling the hot fire near you and breathing in on it is even scarier.

( Afterwards we figured out what sarted the fire, well, who started the fire, it was all our fault as we were smoking in the barn and someone dropped a cigarette and the thing caught fire and spread. )
