Excellent post sweetie and ignore those bullies! They are just jealous because they aren't brave enough to show off their own bare feet in public because of ridiculous social norms.
@BarefootLouise @BarefootLeilani I plan on creating a journalism project (for 2021) about people sharing their barefooting thoughts and adventures. Would you both be interested in being a part of it?
I prefer to leave the shoes at home when practical, but this is just a matter of choice. I can understand some places may not be appropriate for bare feet, but they are few. I don't get the anger if someone goes into a convenience store to purchase a soft drink and a bag of chips without shoes. How is that hurting anyone? If another person's choice does not affect you, it should not bother you.
@Phoenixbellefire I’ve been better. I had to repost this because I was getting bullied on my last thread. That’s not what this place is for. Experience project was nothing like this.
@BarefootLeilani The strongest reaction I've ever had to a barefoot person was me thinking, "I wouldn't walk there barefoot." People get agitated over anything these days. Although, full disclosure, people setting their bare feet on a car dashboard unnerves me a bit. But if it isn't my car then it isn't worth mentioning.
