I Eat Raw Cookie Dough
People say it's super bad for you, well so is smoking, so if a smoker wants to smoke then do that but don't you dare judge me for eating my cookie dough! At least cookie dough smells amazing. Smoking doesn't at all.

and many 'doughs' are made from pasteurized egg.. so it's ok.
unless the egg's a thousand years spoiled.
then there's those that aren't made with egg. always check the label but you're safe.
you should be more concerned by emulsifiers... those harden your arteries.
egg, shmegg... i drink uncooked pasteurized egg.
always make sure it's pasteurized!

@Ediblediane: the raw egg is only bad, if this is store bought cookie dough. If it's homemade and eaten immediately, it's no worse than drinking eggnog. As long as the eggs aren't bad.

@OhAngel: Yes I understand. At room temperature a lot of food accrue enough bacteria to become toxic after 4 hours

The only bad thing is the raw eggs but please...eat as much cookie dough as you want.. or corn muffin dough...yep good stuff

Also, cookie dough doesn't spew toxins into the air for others to inhale as they breathe.
