It's usually a matter of months... Keep on it... I hate what they say, but it's kind of true: "looking for a job is a full-time job"... (except it doesn't pay the bills...)

I have an IT background (computer programming), but these days I mostly do translations... I also do bits of IT stuff for people I worked with, years ago...

@iamnikki When I was a few years older than you, I looked for a job...almost ANY job...for two months.
Finally found one as a girl Friday for an Indian engineer. Raked his leaves, mowed his lawn, stocked his refrigerator, cleaned his house...and I was desperately glad to have the job.

@Mamapolo2016 yes. Usually one can find at least something to apply to in HOURS. I'm not looking for an interview, job offer, and to start working within hours. I know how long it takes to find work. I've worked since 16
