I Need a New Job

Yesterday my boss told me that Thursday is my last day n the business is closing down. I love sewing and designing and for months was preparing to start a clothing business...getting laid off is actually the push I needed...what do u all think abt me sewing a few pieces and selling for Christmas.

Etsy, Facebook, Ebay, Gumtree get the word out there even on SW, anywhere there are views and footfall I doubt you will get sales in time for Christmas but showing any of your work you have will generate some interest

Do it but don't stop 'looking for other work'. This is the sort of business you need to get up and running whilst you have another means of support but you can make a good start at it whilst unemployed.

I think it's getting awfully late for selling stuff for Christmas, especially when it hasn't been made yet.
