I Have Lost People I Love From Cancer

My dad passed away of Liver Cancer October 13th 2018. It is still pretty fresh in my mind and I am having a rough time getting through this. Christmas is going to be hard because I spent the last one with him. Processing this is getting to me enough that I don't feel like celebrating.

I’m very sorry for your loss. You’re still in the early stages of grief and the “firsts” are especially difficult. Not being in a celebratory mood is totally understandable.

I'm sorry for your loss..
When my mom passed away two years ago my first Christmas without her just wasn't the same..
I hope you find a way to deal with your grief, i know how hard it can be..

@SW-User I dread the day my mom passes. Losing my dad put things in a whole new perspective. I can only imagine how horrible it will be to lose my mother who has always been there for me.
