I Have Lost People I Love From Cancer

My mum died when I was 12 & initially nothing really changed because the cancer had eaten her up before I reckon.
It was when I hit puberty & she wasn’t around. My father was working all the time & my mums family disappeared after her funeral so there wasn’t anyone else around.
I can honestly say at 32, puberty was traumatic.
When you lose your parent at a young age you think you’ll get over it but as you get older you realise the world is not a nice place & I had to learn that the hard way.
