I saw plenty of "funny" male bashing the past week and so far this week, so I figure It's MY turn to have some "fun". 馃榿 Is that OK?
So Which is it? Do men only want one thing or not? You can't have it both ways.

I've heard the "He's just a friend" lie so many times.

@cherokeepatti You may have misread a bit. "why should men believe their wife or gf when she says "he's just a friend"
cherokeepatti61-69, F
Oh OK that is different@pattycakechamp

@cherokeepatti It's all good. I know I have to reread things a few times on occasion.

I remember my mother warning me when I was 12 or 13, that boys would be only wanting one thing. I told her I'd rather not think that way. She was of course right, about many boys. Other than that, it's generally been men I've seen or heard express something similar.

I've had quite a few male just friends, throughout my life. If my boyfriend or husband had any big problem with that, there would be problems.

@RogueLoner I seriously doubt I'm one in 10 million, as far as women not assuming men wanting only one thing.

I do not doubt at all though, that both women and men have been motivated by wanting any number of one things.

A lot of guys can be douches and still make move despite knowing the girl being in a relationship, granted. The question here is whether the girl can be trusted to not cheat on you, if she can be then there's nothing to worry about..... except those moments when you have a big argument and she goes for a shoulder to cry on, for such guys that's like a shark smelling blood.

@RogueLoner About the "only want one thing" I mean come on, WHO in this world doesn't want sex? What are you supposed to do? Commit to a relationship but never want that? What's up with that?

I BLOCK the "funny" male bashers. No tolerance of misandry.
theAlchemist56-60, M
@RogueLoner They would respond with verbal tantrums, ad hominem insults and accusations of misogyny if the exact same things they said about men were said about them.

@theAlchemist
No tolerance of misandry
I won'r tolerate it either. It's totally hypocritical for woment to complain about misogyny while promoting misandry.

Depends on the man. But I think they all do want that one thing eventually...馃槀...it鈥檚 a test of their patience and self-control.

I had a boyfriend in high school who contacted me again years later by calling my mother. I was married to the 3rd ex by then who was so paranoid and jealous and suspicious that I would not have dared to meet my high school boyfriend again.

I did call him back, and I explained that the 3rd ex would just not understand, and that no, I could NOT meet him, and he argued with me, and said, "Why? We are just friends!"

I just went back to the "No" thing. It's not worth explaining some things to the absolutely clueless.

I actually do have "just friends" with a few men. A group of us (guys and girls) who attended college together and we are all still very close. I love them dearly (and their spouses too) but no desire for anything else. Those friendships mean so much more to me than any "scratch that itch" could even be.

@RogueLoner Laughs. I didn't say that. I simply said my motives were on the up and up. ;)

Your woman will do what a she wants. Your powerless to stop her than to love her better so the odds are lower her wish list isn鈥檛 to bang the delivery man or her boss.

"Just" a friend is a humungous eye roll. I don't believe it.

@RogueLoner If you spend time together every single day and there's 馃グ鉂わ笍馃グ馃槏鉂わ笍, etc.. it's abundantly obvious.
