@thatscottishguy The down side is they have problems coping as adults because they no longer get all the attn and people don't cater to them like they were brought up to expect. I've known many an only that struggled with relationships because of that.

@NeuroticByNature I always thought being a middle child would be the best. You'd have both an older and a younger sibling.

@trackman11 lol. I've never understood why parents spoil the youngest child. You'd think they'd discipline all their kids since that produces the best outcome. I've known some babies of the family who act like big babies their whole lives.

@Cloud7593 my siblings were spanked hard and often (would be abuse today), I wasn’t. Ironically I take care of my siblings now in many ways. I’ve been blessed though with an easy life.
