I Am Fascinated By Human Behavior

So, random thought. Apparently some famous people that are in the spotlight a lot (or were) are introverted. Their stage presence gives off a completely different aura and impression than how they are in their private life.

For example, Freddie Mercury. Apparently he was fitted this description.

It's curious. I may be an introvert, not entirely sure now, but I was in the past, and I certainly wasn't one for seeking attention or wanting to be the centre of attention or showing off and typically, introverts aren't.

It somehow doesn't fit and I don't quite understand it...

I was introvert (still in real life). But talking online with anonymity gave me option to share my feelings. I think it has improved the way I may talk to few people in real life too.

@ABCDEF7 That's good. It's good to 'find your tribe' online, or at least somewhere you can talk to people, I agree. I often find it easier expressing myself in writing than vocally.

@amethyst1 Yes, I also feel it very difficult to express myself verbally.

Recently I met Bill Bowers, a mime who has really made himself into something quite amazing. He mentioned that he was a learned extrovert, and that typically he didn't actually like interacting with people. I had a lightbulb moment there and then, and realised I was exactly the same. I was so excited that we were so similar, I actually got his autograph. I used to spend my days reading alone in the corner in the library and ignoring people. Now I'm someone who makes friends easily. Through the arts (theatre, music, dance...), you kinda get used to being in front of people and for a lot of people, this is probably pretty common.
