First world purchase [I Have Cats]

I am thinking about buying a pet stroller for taking my two cats out around the neighborhood. Very hard to decide which kind to get, all have concerning reviews. And maybe I should just get a single-pet model and take them out separately. And there is no way out of my house that doesn't involve about 5 steps.

I never knew such a thing existed but it's not like our cat would tolerate it. Did a quick search online and they don't seem all that expensive.

@SageWanderer the reviews suggest that cats love them (at least with an enclosure where perhaps they wouldn't have to be tethered). The criticisms tend to be more about the quality of the workmanship. And with one double-size I am considering, too big and heavy.

Are you sure you’re ready to be the lady who wheels her cats around in a stroller? And aren’t they feral cats? They’re not gonna put up with that!

@Harmonium1923 I bought the stroller! And one of them is not feral. I put her in the stroller and we started down the street, but then she started to panic, meowing loudly and trying to break through the mesh cover. I relented and took her back home. Maybe the noise of a car passing close to us scared her. Unfortunately the wheels are not good enough to use on unpaved terrain. But we'll try again sometime, and the other cat is less feral than she used to be.

Our neighbor uses a regular baby stroller sometimes a little red wagon

@MarineBob for cats? Does he use a tether and harness to restrain it? Or did he jerry-rig a mesh cover?
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@Poppies dog and cat both with leashes

You have some very lucky cats

Good luck!

@JoyfulSilence Thanks! I ordered one! Decided to get one intended for a single pet; the cats can take turns. Though I think while they are still kittens both would fit. There were fewer complaints about this model than any of the others I reviewed.
