I Love Watching The Stars At Night

Because you can't see them during the day.

But seriously folks, I'm at a cottage and during the campfire I looked up at the night sky and saw stars. It was magnificent! Then I began to wonder when was the last time I looked up at the night sky. I mean really took the time to take it all in, because there is so much to see. I then began to look around, hoping to see a shooting star. The crackling of the fire drew my attention away from the celestial showcase above and I soon became mesmerized by the dancing flames.
When I looked back up, clouds had moved in, obscuring the twinkling lights.
Had long had I been lost in thought? I had no idea.

Yip, the night sky is tremendous.
I am lucky to see the Milky Way, in the Southern Hemisphere. Yet, a few days ago, the Full Moon was to bright.

Most nights we do see stars, when the clouds or moon stay away.

Funny, when I saw the whispy clouds over the stars, for a second I thought it was the Milky Way, or the Northern lights, it was so lit up by the moon.
