I'd be a lot more sympathetic towards my disgusting roommate if he wasn't so goddamn judgemental.
This doesn't even bother me but it's just super weird and I don't get how he doesn't see that what he does is obnoxious.
I bake a batch of cookies and the dude comments how I'm destroying my body and I'm gonna get fat. He's like "Oh, you gonna eat all those yourself? 👀 That's excessive."
My other roommate gets some ice cream, shoves it in the freezer, and I'll admit to you it's a lot of ice cream. But this dude, he's like "who the hell is eating all that ice cream." And I comment that he's probably bringing it home to his folks, to which he replies that that's just "giving everyone diabetes." 🤦♂️
Sir, even with as little as I've seen you leave your room at all, I've never once seen you prepare a proper meal for yourself in the 9 months we've been living together. I've seen you heat up frozen pizzas, cook up prepackaged burgers, and that's it. You live off of goddamn junk food. You drink milk straight out of the jug. You don't even have basic cleaning supplies to care for your living space. Your life is an exercise in flagrant sloth, so how 'bout you don't lecture me about the sugar content of my fresh-baked cookies.
