I've been in such a rut lately that I'm legit proud of myself for cooking black bean soup

You blend part of it so the broth is very thick and opaque. It wasn't a super hard soup, which I'm grateful for. I used pretty old ingredients (very limp celery & old carrots) but it seemed to turn out fine.

My roomie walks in though and looks at it and he's like, "What the Hell is that?! ๐Ÿ˜ซ". And I tell him that it's a black bean soup, to which he replied that it looks like something he shat out. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’€

I tell him that he should probably see a doctor about that.
