probably around 16 years old, at this huge park where I was staying with my cousins
We were up on a wooded hill overlooking something of an on-site village. We were playin' a game where we'd group up into two teams, throw sticks at each other, and if someone got hit they were out. So basically stick dodgeball I guess. There was probably like 15 or 20 of us. We played a few games normally, even teams, at which point I challenged everyone to play against me.
They let me take a moment to get set up without watching me while they would do the same, so I bolted down the hill, ran across the bridge over a small creek, and rushed through a big field to hide behind one of the houses in town. All they saw was my bright red coat sprinting over the grass, between the trees around them.
I hid there for a pretty long time, but they eventually found me when I was trying to sneak around. I should've just hid behind that one house forever. It was hilarious. I was a goof lmao
