@BlueVeins just don't share anything with them. it's none of their business, no matter the support you receive from them. it'll be good practice, standing your ground.

@BlueVeins as a parent, I would feel a bit upset that my child needs help but couldn't confide in me, but also impressed they are taking steps to get better.....does that make sense?

Although, at the end of the day it isn't about them it is about you and whether you prefer to have the discussion on your terms or on theirs.

@InOtterWords Should I? Yes. Will I? No. I don't think I can make myself pick up that damn phone and say "hey i'm getting treated by psychiatrist no questions thank you." And honestly, if they feel upset about me not confiding in them, I understand that, but like I can't do anything about it if you get me.
