I Am Sad

My time in Colorado is coming to a close. I will be leaving for Arkansas in late March and won't be moving again. I am a bit disappointed since my goal after college was moving back to Colorado, get a stable job, get my own place and settle down. In a way, I wanted to follow the footsteps of my parents, both moved to Colorado in the early 80s for work and to settle down, they were lucky. But I was naive to think my life would end up like theirs in my twenties. Plus I wanted to experience life and have fun, I'm not getting any younger, you know? What I am proud of though is that I learned ALOT: the good, bad and the fugly. Overall, maybe moving back is for the best but bittersweet, at least I will sleep in my cozy old room and watch television for the first time again.
