I Am Sad

For the past month I've been fighting the loss of a job and the battle to stay in college and keep a roof over my head. I've asked the community to help and was met with close to no help or kind words... I has been a pretty emotional week for me and, the said part is, I lost my place in vet school today. I couldn't reach the required $250 to stay there even tho I reevaluated my debt.

I had several users promise to help and a lot of kind words that I thought were real... I was completely crushed to know that you played with my emotions and my position...

Well, without college and future I am no one and I, due to a miracle, got the money to keep my room for 1 more month. I will search for a job as I am already doing and pray for a miracle. College revaluation will be on the beginning of January and I will probably not have the money till then.

This wasn't a rant about the community or the people that promised a helping hand and simply left... This is a post of pure sadness and just disbelief in the people around me for now...

In my opinion it's not right to ask strangers for money. Everyone makes their own money and works hard for it. People have to be independent and take responsibility for themselves. I'd be offended and pissed of if a stranger asked me for money. I don't car what their situation is, I'd tell them to fuck off

In my eyes a victim is someone your age with MS, Lung Cancer or Leukemia !
You have had some unfortunate circumstances but you have to move on, maybe you have not done enough. Have you written to the Vets in your area and explained your desire to work in their field and that you are willing to do any work they need to have done, cleaning their office, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kennels and or anything other work they might have have for you ? Tell them you applied at their office vut you are reaffirming your interest in a position.
Send it " Personal and Confidential " to them or to their home address if you can obtain it.
