I Daydream a Lot

I wandered into a nice neighborhood once an saw nearly all the houses with christmas lights on. You never see that where I am. I never see that like that before with nearly all people in on it. It looked nice man real nice an I had this vision of me livin in one of them houses with my kid an we go out at night drivin through that neighborhood lookin at the lights not sayin shit to one another but lookin at the lights.

It real nice an all but I ain't got no car. I could never afford to live there not even get my own house cause I make like min wage. That whole damn fantasy is dead ain't never gonna happen.
Minimum wage is where most of us began, before education and persistence saw us living in one of those homes with the lovely lights too.

You will only be limited in this world, by your perseverance and dedication to your dream.

There are means available to build a life of opportunity and hope, closer than you might think.

Take an honest personal inventory of your life, cutting out any dead weight and bad habits; then connect with education opportunities and local programs for disadvantaged communities/the income restricted, and any eligible grants and scholarships.
Apprenticeship in a trade has given many a leg up, such as carpentry, machinist metal lathing, auto mechanics, millwright/pipe fitting, sheet-metal work, electrical, or welding.
Appealing to many, as it doesn't require years of schooling and has the satisfaction of working with your hands. Starting pay after apprenticeship is often considerable.
Community college/night school is a good place to begin looking.

What about getting your real estate agent's license??
Are you decent in math -- simple add/subtract and divide? -- in the fall of each year, tax firm H&R BLOCK holds 3 week nightly training courses, employing its graduates as simple tax clerks come January.

Volunteering in your areas of interest and passion, and in community programs, are good places to get experience and exposure, while networking with future employers and contacts.

God bless, all the best.
Praying for you 馃檹
