I Wish I Knew Then What I Know Now

It’s really interesting how your attitudes change over time. When I was a kid, I hated going to visit relatives. The adults would sit around and talk forever and I would get so bored.

Now, some 40-odd years later, I just finished a few days of visits with relatives on both sides of my family. And I’m really glad we did this. Now that I’m grown up myself, sitting around and talking isn’t so boring. And I now have more appreciation for what a blessing family can be.

Once we reach that point where we can actually listen to other family members we can learn some things we never knew. A wealth of knowledge at our fingertips. I am glad the visit was a good one. Families can give us solid footing.
