I Want You to Read This Before You Add Me to Your Circle

Some Information About Me... No, you don't have to read this before you add me, but if you want to know a few things about me beforehand, here's an appetizer.

My name is Charlie. You can call me whatever you like, I've had every nickname in the book, but don't call me Charles. I hate it! I'm 20 years old, a junior in college. I'm planning on majoring in English. I really have no idea what I'm going to do with that degree. My initial thought is in publishing or editing. I'd love to write full time, but until I get a few things published, I need to work, and what better place to work than somewhere where I can do a lot of reading and writing? :)

I'm a bit nerdy and goofy. I tend to daydream a lot. I'm a very awkward person on first meeting, but become more outgoing with continued comfortableness. In contrast, I'm generally more candid and open here, behind the seeming safety of a computer screen.

I enjoy conversation, about anything and everything, so feel free to talk to me anytime you'd like to discuss something with somebody. Wow, a lot of indefinite pronouns in that sentence. To sum up better, and less confusing, feel free to message me, or comment on something, if you'd like to chat!

A sidenote on religion: I don't like to be preached to or condescended to. I'm not sold either way on any god, but am against most forms of organized religion. Don't add me if you want to preach to me or to beat me over the head with your beliefs. I respect your beliefs and opinions, so please respect mine. I'd be more than happy to discuss various aspects of religion or belief, but I have my own position; I don't want to be converted or 'saved,' so please "treat me as you would like to be treated."
