Yes and no. If the transactions are involuntary, through force or monopoly, even a profit can be depriving others of a greater outcome. If I take over a local lake, then charge everyone exorbitant rates to access the water, they are getting water for my profit, but they could have been getting it at a much lower rate.

How about thieves and scammers tho?
