I Believe Actions Speak Louder Than Words

I just poured my heart out in an answer to a question. The person was asking for help and I tried to give my advice! I was genuinely worried for this person. But, they totally ignored me and answered all the others around me. I got so pissed. I deleted my answer. Their actions speak louder than words to me. I will not waste my time on this person again. Cest la vie!

This kind of crap happened to me when I was on EP. People with so called mental problems would come to me asking for advise over and over. I'd type until my fingers almost fell off. I see them later here and they are portraying themselves totally different?!😒 Some are emotional vampires so I don't get involved with peoples emotional stuff anymore.

@Peaches I'm done with it. I'll only try to help the ones I know and are in my friends circle.

@Indy74 Yes, you are better off. 🤨 I've experienced the same, people getting hearts on their answers and mine ignored. I delete my response and don't comment on their posts anymore.👎🏼

@Peaches that's what I have begun to do. It's not worth it.

I'm sorry that happened. If I find out someone doesn't care for me, I stop interacting with them as well.
@Indy74 I saw your reply to LadyGrace, and checked out some of your posts. I hope it wasn’t me that didn’t reply.

a lot of people are like that on here they ask for advice you give them really good advice putting everything into it and they just ignore it or ignore you
GeorgeTBH · 31-35, M
@Indy74 no problem :) its what friends do

Self absorbed in their pity and don't really seek advice, just attention, drama queens, more drama more attention; answers and results = no drama and thats not what they seek, not what feeds them
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@SW-User you definitely have that right.
Too late. You already participated. Sometimes people just want to be heard. They don't want answers. They want attention.
@Indy74 You replied. I try to answer only with brief answers to those who are needing answers. If they continue to chat with me on their posting, they likely truly want help. I leave it up to them.

@PoetryNEmotion I understand what you're saying, I meant no disrespect to you. I was just angry. Thanks for answering.🙂
@Indy74 No offense taken.

Sometime people aren’t really looking for answers but for attention. Your heart was in the right place
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@St0ut I am a brunette with a pixie cut. My husband is on here along with me. We can be friends and chat.
St0ut · 51-55, M
For the record. I don’t have a pixie cut.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@St0ut 🤣 I didn't think so!!!
Lol sometimes i just block people asking for dumb advice because i know they won't take it anyway they just want to be stupid imo.. Ugh either that or they are just totally trolling idk
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@SStarfish I get what you're saying. Obviously this person is a troll.
