I Want to Make Friends

Does anybody else also find that it is easier to make friends online than it is in the outside world? I wish it were not so but it is.
Maybe i have a scar. Maybe I’m plain. Maybe I dont drive a fashionable car or live in a big house ot have all the latest gadgets. Do these things really determine the type of person i am? Do they provide a window to my soul?
I just startef this account and enjoy reading peoples articles and the questions. I can feel a part of something. I like social media because people look at people diffrrently than they do when they live across the street. I can be myself without having to try to impress anyone.
I’m just quiet. I have a hard time talking to people for the first time, and the second, and the third. But that is lost in writing.
Does any orher feel that way on here?
