I Love Handwritten Letters

Does anyone write letters anymore? As in handwritten in pen, on paper, sealed in an envelope and stamped? Receiving a letter was like getting a small gift in my mailbox. Someone took the time out of his or her day to think of me, sit down, and craft a little slice of company for me. I, in turn, did the same. Even had a fountain pen I would use on my good paper to write to a select few. Are those days gone for good?

I know technology has taken over. It would be nice to send and receive something tangible now and then.

Funnily enough, I did write a letter recently. I sent a friend cookies for their b-day and included a handwritten letter. I have to admit, it was strange writing, my hand kept cramping because it's not used to writing cursive anymore and my usually beautiful writing looked terrible...little embarrassing honestly. I do miss letter writing and would love to do that again:)
