Maybe I'm boring.

When I ask what was your lunch, I am actually interested to know. Like that there are so many small things.
I ask series of questions sometimes but then again, I am interested to know.
Does that makes the other person less interested, that continuing the conversation seems not that much fun anymore?

I feel this entirely.
Why does it always have to be deep conversation? I feel like some people here crave never ending drama, or they feel the need to constantly be “fixing someone”. Like these groups saying “I’d rather have a deep conversation than small talk”.
Jesus H Christ. Sometimes small talk is a welcome relief.
