I Rock Climb

I always considered what I do rock climbing. However after taking to someone who climbed over 1,000 feet, I’m going to say I just do extreme boldering. I free climb 20-30 foot cliffs, so I’m not really doing a lot of climbing. I’d love to buy ropes and find someone who knows what they’re doing and climb cliffs a few hundred feet. There’s plenty of rock climbing where I live. I just never understood how ropes work. The guy I talked to said all I need is a top rope to climb in this area. I still don’t know how to set those up. So for now I’ll continue climbing my small cliffs without rope until I figure everything out.
