(Not have to have you be happy, as you will already be a happy lady)

we geeky guys are just like anyone else, we just have certain interests. There are still still rude, jerks who just happen to be geeks.

I think what you are seeking is Emotional Intelligence.

@nugeetar very valid point: intelligence is not just factual knowledge. That is a component, or perhaps even a consequence of intelligence but not its main constituent.

Also @ isthisit : there is always the pitfall that two people of high intelligence will drift into a pattern of brinkmanship, thus destroying their relationship.
Ironically this displays a slight lack of Emotional Intelligence.

I think you are looking for people to inspire your interest in things because of their passion for learning and not necessarily how much they know about some random topics.

People are people, whether they're more "geeky" or not. It depends more on someone's character individually. You'll get douchebag geeks, douchebag jocks, douchebag musicians, douchebag anyone really
