Holidays like Thanksgiving were living hell when I was a kid. My father would be in a rage and looking for a victim. Usually me. I have avoided Thanksgiving my whole adult life. If I think about it it's a nightmare.

I’m sorry for both of you. No one should have to go through that. The holidays are hard for many reasons. But, hugs to you both and anyone that has had to go through that.
