Signs of spring getting closer

Today's high is projected to be 4° with a wind chill advisory until noon tomorrow. No sign of spring around here.

No snow, green grass, blossoms.
That looks more like a month or two into spring.

I'd say you are 3 weeks ahead of UK with your cherry blossom tree. It's still very wintry here, but we've got a few daffodils and snowdrops and crocus so far.

We had cedar tree pollen in January and this past week we’ve had record-setting cold and now snow. Had an ice storm in October that set record damages. My fig trees & plum trees had budded out and now they are frozen.

Lovely tree. Here we have still snow.
