What food reminds you of someone you love?

Pie. Because my dad loved it. And because I used to bake pies for him all the time. My best was two kumquat pies I baked from fruit our neighbor gave us from her tree; I baked one for us, one for the neighbor. It was incredibly fresh tasting and good.

A roast beef dinner, my Dad taught me how to do it one day to distract me from exam stress. We put the radio on and cooked a dinner together. Good times.
