I Have a Question

what does it mean when you go for a mammogram and they call you the following wk and ask you to come back, i had one done on friday, it was just routine, i get them every yr, then they called me today and asked me to come back wed cause they want to do another one and an ultrasound, they said it was on my left breast, ive had rashes on there that are kind of like pimples, im wondering if im going to have to do surgery, im open to surgery but wouldnt want the chemo and radiation, i know it sounds bad but id rather it just took me if i had cancer, i have the type of life where i can never get dates or a boyfriend or get married or have kids, hardly any friends and now with the corona virus i feel like i got even more taken away, not that i would ever do anything but i just dont want to live like that, so anyone have any idea of what could be going on?

First off,calm down,don't get too ahead of yourself. More lightly then not,they probably want to take,a better look at it to see what's going on. I had,the,same thing happen a few years ago and luckily everything turned out okay

My wife has had this a couple of times....they saw something, but couldn’t make out what it was. They will re-take the mammogram/sonogram and get a better idea of whether it’s cancerous or not. In my wife’s case, it was not and they could tell based on the second image. Have it re-done and find out rather than guessing.

Sometimes tests are not totally clear and they want to be certain everything is ok and they need to do more checks to make sure everything is fine....they will probably find nothing wrong, don't presume the worst...
