I Have a Question

anyways to get my crazy neighbor out of here? shes bipolar and i dont think shes taking her meds, this afternoon she called the cops on me saying i was slamming doors when i wasnt even slamming them, shes hearing stuff and is being paranoid and not thinking straight, i dont think shes taking her meds but that shouldnt be my problem cause shes calling the police on me saying i was doing that when i wasnt, i told the cops she had mental issues and was imagining all that, i never slam door and shes the reason why, shes already crazy, any suggestions on how to get her out of here, shes right next door to me
You could call social services and ask them to do a wellness check. Tell them you are concerned for her well-being (which I assume you are).

@Pinkstarburst ive thought of calling adult protective services

@Pinkstarburst im thinking of doing that since my apt manager wont do nothing
If you are sure about her illness, then I xuggest that you become friendly to her... It was not nice of her to call the police on you.. what you did (telling them about her and that you were not slamming the door was good...

I think you should leave it there and understand her a bit more...

@Soossie i cant talk to her, she screams at me to stay awa
@pearllederman

Ok darling... you can just ignore her... she is ill and you should be a bit more understanding towards her..😘😘😘

Get used to her. Or move. A tough and no doubt unfair choice but practically speaking that is the basic choice you're going to have to make sooner or later. She may find some medical help with a prescription that will settle her down. Or you may find a really great place to live if you take your time and look around. But changing a mentally disturbed person through rational discussion is just not a realistic possibility. And it's been my own experience that the police don't care; they have a lot to do and crazy neighbors are rarely on their to-do list.

@greenmountaingal i dont think she should be bothering the police for petty stuff that didnt happen, that in itself should be a crime
That poor lady has a health issue. You should be supportive. Go talk to her and tell her nicely that she might be hearing things due to her disorder. Suggest she go see her doctor to get her meds adjusted.

@quitwhendone i cant talk to her, all she does is scream at me not to talk to her,
@pearllederman Yeah, she's got issues. Poor thing. Did she tell you she was bipolar?
pearllederman · 61-69, F
@quitwhendone no someone else told me

I hate when people use bipolar this way. Specifically when you don't know what is actually wrong/if there is something wrong. Just move if it is an issue.
pearllederman · 61-69, F
@ChiyoSKL i think shes the one that should move, i think im going to report her on monday for doing that to me
ChiyoSKL · 31-35, F
@pearllederman so moving because she has a mental illness. Wonder if you would tell an old person with a UTI to move. Or cancer.
@ChiyoSKL

Please dont forget that Pearl did nothing wrong to her neighbour... it was her neighbour who called the police...

I get your point but if it was you, you wouldnt be any happier than Pearl...
