Truly and honestly would like to know why people buy infants and toddlers expensive sneakers/ shoes knowing that they will grow out of it quickly?

Because they're stupid and value silly aesthetics over truly important things. The sad part is a lot of times they can't really afford it either.

Because they're still playing dress-up with dolls, not realizing that a child is not a toy.
They want to help retailers and the economy in general. It's altruistic.
