I Have a Question

how do i get a neighbor to stop cranking up the music? i have one like that, and hes always bringing this girl in thats not supposed to be there and shes the one cranking it, ive been woken up at 3:30am before too and 1am this past wknd, ive had to call the police in the middle of the night to go turn it off. i shouldnt have to do that. he leave the outside doors open for his girl to come in too, that is unsafe for the rest of us, why is he allowed to do all this? why isnt he getting kicked out for all this? any ideas? he lives right under me so i hear everything he does

@pearllederman But he won't do anything about it? That's not right. I wonder what the law says about that. If I were the owner or manager I wouldn't tolerate that.

@TeresaRudolph71 its not him, he has to go to court or something to get him kicked out, theres someone over him so he cant just do it. hes also letting his girlfriend in the building when shes not supposed to be there, leaves the door propped open for his friends, and people have seen his friend come in with a key, i want him out so bad, he used to be homeless which i could see why, and is letting all his homeless friends in, people have called the police on him and hes still doing it.

@pearllederman Oh, I see. Then it's more complicated than I thought. That guy really shouldn't be leaving the door propped open for his friends. And it sounds like there's a chain of command that you would have to follow, and a lengthy process to go through. That sounds like a real pain.
