I Have a Question

There seem to be 2 camps here, the ones who hide their age and gender and the ones who hide their friends and replies.

Last week I had someone with no age or gender on their profile tell me how wrong I was to "hide" my friends and replies on a public site and blocked me when she couldn't get me to change my mind about it.

I had another ageless, sexless person tell me they'd never be friends with me for the same reason. Frankly, I find it all a little hypocritical.

I myself am in the latter group. The way I see it, I don't give my offline friends access to my convos or contact list so I don't see why I'd provide a bunch of online strangers with that kind of info.

Why are there so many curious people, who can not understand
that there are things that do not concern them..?🤔

It's not a secret it's a preference...I have nothing to hide.

I don't usually friend anyone if they hide these things. How can I check their profile if they hide it? I don't know if we have anything in common, so I just don't bother.

When you have crazy people threatening you, with multiple accounts it's either hide this stuff or leave.

Some stalkers are dubious and use puppet/spare profiles..
